Other Mini variants
Since the Mini-14 was so popular, Ruger introduced sister models that are chambered to fire different ammunition calibres. Other than the ammunition they fire, they are otherwise nearly identical. They are as follows:
- The Mini-30 (Mini-Thirty) | uses the 7.62x39mm a popular military surplus ammo round available in Canada
- Mini-6.8 | 6.8 mm Remington SPC.
Recently all three model variants have been marketed as the "Ruger Ranch Rifle"
