Ross Rifle



The Ross Rifle was a straight pull bolt action rifle made in Canada.  The rifle used a .303 caliber with a 5 round stripper clip/charger. It has a 28 inch barrel. The rifle was produced in 1903 for the Canadian Armed Forces until the First World War. But due to certain reason the rifle was withdrawn from the front.

Even then it was immensely popular amongst allied snipers. After it’s withdrawal from the front a number of sporting variants were developed including Huot Automatic Rifle.
